Hello folks. Well posting new work has been a little patchy of late; partly this is down to just how busy “real” life is but I also find myself seeking something. What you might ask? I’m not sure yet to be honest but while I grapple with the problem you may find I produce some very different images then you are used too from me for the next while.
And the above is a prime example I think. Taken in Dalkey looking out on the Lighthouse not far from Bullock Harbour I intentionally isolated it from everything else. I used my new 10 Stop filter to prolong the exposure over 4 minutes thereby turning the sea and sky an almost surreal texture. This image for me represents both a sense of isolation and timelessness.
This is the 1st in a series of images I plan to produce around this concept so stay tuned.
