The 2nd image from my recent trip to the Ring of Kerry. This is a stitch of 3 handheld images taken during some fleeting sunshine on Valentia Island looking back on to Portmagee. The rugged cliffs of the west of Ireland are in complete contrast to what we find here on the east and something I very much enjoyed capturing.
I have created both a colour and B&W interpretation of this image. The colour shows the richness of the our landscape with it’s greens and browns supported by the deep blues of a cloud filled sky and the sea beneath. While the B&W focus our attention on the light as it rolls along the landscape, with some beautiful highlights in the sea.
