“Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending. ~ Carl Bard

It’s been a silly busy month so far and I am thankful it is nearing a close. I believe I can see a little light at the end of the tunnel 🙂

While I do have a number of pieces in the works from more recent outings I wanted to share this image from 2011 today. Shot during a particularly windy outing to the 40 Foot near Dun Laoghaire I remember this trip ruefully. I had arrived early while the tide was low and climbed down to a spot that is only exposed at low tide. Unfortunately I got so caught up with what I was doing I did not notice the tide creeping in. hmmm well lets just say that it was a far more difficult climb out of there… and leave it there shall we 🙂

HOW I SHOT IT

CAMERA: Canon EOS 5D Mark II
LENS: Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM
EXPOSURE: 1′
APERTURE: f/13
FOCAL LENGTH: 20mm
ISO: 50
